Sanne van Beek


Sanne van Beek specializes in migration law and the law of persons and family law. In addition, she assists psychiatric patients who are faced with compulsory care (the Compulsory Mental Healthcare Act and the Care and Force Act).


Sanne studied law at Leiden University. After working for more than ten years in the district of Rotterdam, first as a legal assistant and as of December 2012 as a lawyer, Sanne made the transition to the district of The Hague in 2020.


Asylum and immigration law formed her daily practice for many years. In addition, she has handled cases in the field of criminal law, social security law, general administrative law and has provided assistance to victims of the child benefit affair.



At Muller Advocaten, Sanne focuses exclusively on migration law, the law of persons and family law and psychiatric patient law.


Sanne is a member of the Association of Psychiatric Patient Law Lawyers in the Netherlands (vPAN) and the Association of Lawyers of Psychiatric Patients (VAPP).
